The investment activities of funds managed by T-Venture are based on the three strategic business units: broadband/fixed network (Connected Life and Work Fund, T-Home Venture Fund), mobile communications (T-Mobile Venture Fund) and corporate customers (T-Systems Venture Fund) as well as on the overall group strategy. Correspondingly, the investment strategy of the funds is embedded in the product and market strategy of the strategic business areas and is coordinated with the business units. Thus it is guaranteed that important market and technology trends are picked up by the investments and made usable for Deutsche Telekom. Investments for the support of group strategy address, for instance, the topic of product and market convergence or early identification of disruptive technologies.
