T-Venture, the Venture Capital Company of Deutsche Telekom, was founded in 1997. T-Venture advises and looks after young, innovative enterprises which show economical and technological synergies with the business units of Deutsche Telekom.
The headquarters are in Bonn and are supplemented and complemented by T-Venture of America, Inc. in Foster City, California and Seattle, Washington. Thematically oriented funds are used for the financing, which closely correspond to the three strategic business segments broadband/fixed network, mobile communications and corporate customers of Deutsche Telekom as well as address cross-divisional topics. T-Venture intensively accompanies companies and acts as their long-term partner. The objective of the co-operation is a valorization of the company followed by a successful sale of the shareholding after five to seven years. T-Venture's shareholdings also include the distribution and marketing as well as research and development networks from Deutsche Telekom. Portfolio companies receive nationally and internationally pro-active support. Regional emphases lie in Europe, USA and Asia. T-Venture is one of the most significant corporate venture capital companies worldwide. |
